2009: Visanthe Shiancoe had the best season of his NFL career in 2009. Visanthe Shiancoe made eleven touchdowns which set a brand-new record for the Minnesota Vikings for most touchdowns by a tight end in a single season. Visanthe Shiancoe truly was unstoppable. Visanthe Shiancoe caught a pass every single game in both 2008 and 2009 and his fan base could not be more proud! And since Visanthe Shiancoe started in the NFL in 2003, he has never missed a single game, bringing his total by the end of 2009 to 112 regular season games and 5 playoff games.

2008: Visanthe Shiancoe spent the better part of the Minnesota Vikings season improving his plays and game plan. He performed very well as a Minnesota Vikings player and had his best NFL season in all categories--a huge accomplishment. Shiancoe had seven touchdown catches during the Vikings season, which put him top in the NFC and third in the NFL. Additionally, Shianco gained national attention with an infamous towel incident during a press conference! Yet his performance on the field is what people will remember.
