NFL
2007: Tarvaris Jackson was plagued by injuries: groin, broken finger and a concussion. He ran for three touchdowns and threw 3 60-yard touchdown passes.
2006: Tarvaris Jackson started the first game of his career against Green Bay on December 21. Threw for his first touchdown pass on December 17 against the New York Jets, a 35-yard screen pass to Mewelde Moore. Was the only Vikings rookie to start multiple games at quarterback besides Fran Tarkenton in 1961.
College
Tarvaris Jackson played three years at Alabama State finishing with 7,839 passing yards and 67 touchdown passes. Left Alabama State ranked second in touchdown passes and passing yards. 2005: Attained 2nd-Team All-SWAC status. Threw for 2,941 yards and ran for 285 yards.
