Patrick Body was born on January 17, 1982 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended Toledo and led the teams in tackles with 113 during his senior year. He intercepted two balls and gained 23 yards in returns. The cornerback deflected 3 passes in 13 games played.

Patrick Body was released by the Cincinnati Bengals on September 6, 2006 and was picked up by the Minnesota Vikings on November 15. He is currently assigned to the Vikings practice squad.
