Pat Williams was born on October 24, 1972 and calls Monroe, Louisiana home. Played two years of college football at Texas A&M after two years of junior college football at Navarro (TX). Signed by the Buffalo Bills as a rookie free agent before the 1997 season. Signed by the Minnesota Vikings on March 3, 2005.

2008:
Pat Williams was picked for the third time in a row for a trip to the popular Pro Bowl. When he went, he made history: Pat and Kevin Williams were the only Minnesota Vikings defensive tacklers to earn trips to the game three times. Pat Williams had to sit out the last couple games with a shoulder injury, but he was better remembered that season as part of the top ranked NFL defense.
2007: Pat Williams led the Minnesota Vikings linemen with 78 tackles and was chosen for the AP All-Pro 2nd Team. Pat Williams also made the Pro Bowl for the second consecutive year. Pat Williams has not missed a single game in 6 seasons, starting every game since 2001.
2006: Pat Williams made a Pro Bowl appearance as an alternate after a stellar campaign for the Minnesota Vikings. He hasn’t missed a game or start since coming to the Vikings before the 2005 season. Had 12 tackles, nine solos and four tackles for a loss against Green Bay on November 12. In 2005, Williams led Vikings linemen with 88 tackles while also leading the team with nine tackles for a loss. Williams entered the league as an undrafted free agent and didn’t start a game until his fourth season. Had now been a full-time starter since 2001. Had a career-best 108 tackles in 2002. Picked off A.J. Feeley and returned it for his first career touchdown on December 5, 2005.
College
Pat Williams played two seasons in a Texas A&M uniform. Had 43 total tackles his senior season. Played 11 games that year, starting in eight of them. Started only six games of his junior year, but still managed to garner all-conference honors after making 43 tackles and posting a sack. Made 132 tackles and 24 sacks in two seasons at Navarro.
