Jayme Mitchell was born on March 15, 1984 and calls his hometown Jackson, Mississippi. Played college football at the University of Mississippi for four years. Was signed as an undrafted rookie by the Minnesota Vikings before the 2006 season.
NFL
2007: Jayme Mitchell didn't start but still participated in most Minnesota Vikings games. Jayme Mitchell had a season-high four tackles against the Chicago Bears and the Washington Redskins. He also sacked the Detroit Lions quarterback during the blow-out game in December.
Jayme Mitchell stepped in as an undrafted rookie in 2006 and contributed to the Vikings 8th-ranked defense. Had two sacks against New England and is the only undrafted Vikings rookie with two sacks in one game.
College
