NFL

2007: Jayme Mitchell didn't start but still participated in most Minnesota Vikings games. Jayme Mitchell had a season-high four tackles against the Chicago Bears and the Washington Redskins. He also sacked the Detroit Lions quarterback during the blow-out game in December.

Jayme Mitchell stepped in as an undrafted rookie in 2006 and contributed to the Vikings 8th-ranked defense. Had two sacks against New England and is the only undrafted Vikings rookie with two sacks in one game.

College

Jayme Mitchell started 20 of 45 games at Mississippi. Compiled 105 tackles, 67 solo tackles and 19 tackles for a loss as well as five sacks, 49 yards in losses and two forced fumbles in his college career. Earned four letters and appeared in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2002.
