Jamarca Sanford was born on August 27, 1985 and hails from Batesville, Mississippi. On the South Panola High School football team, Jamarca Sanford completed his career with 320 tackles and 25 quarterback sacks. USA Today dubbed him the 9th best high school player in football. He was voted the team's MVP after ending his senior career with an undefeated record and a state championship.
Colllege
Jamarca Sanford played for the Ole Miss Rebels (University of Mississippi) for four seasons in college. He earned varsity letters all four years and was the team captain during his senior season in 2008. During this time, Jamarca Sanford found his niche at the position of strong safety and consistently ranked among the top players of the team for that position.
NFL
In the 2009 NFL draft, Jamarca Sanford was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round as the 231st pick.
