Gus Frerotte is one of the oldest Minnesota Vikings new additions for the 2008 season and will serve as a back-up for Tarvaris Jackson.

Gus Frerotte has already been a member of the Minnesota Vikings...and the Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, and St. Louis Rams. What a list! Although Gus Frerotte has bounced around to many teams, he's never had consistent play time with any of them and has always been in the back-up role.

Gus Frerotte brings valuable experience to the young Minnesota Vikings team. Hopefully that knowledge will benefit the team in their upcoming season.
