Greg Lewis was born February 12, 1980 and attended Rich South High School in Richton Park, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois, and was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2003.

Over his six seasons with the Philadephia Eagles, Greg Lewis played in 90 games and caught 127 passes for 1,699. Greg Lewis is also the only wide receiver to have caught a pass in a Superbowl.

Greg Lewis was acquired by the New England Patriots in March 2009, but was released on September 5, 2009. Five days later the Minnesota Vikings signed Greg Lewis.
