Bobby Wade was born in Orange County, California on February 25, 1981.

Bobby Wade graduated from Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona. His high school career was filled with athletic success. He lettered in football, track & field (triple jump section champion), and basketball. Bobby Wade was awarded the honor of Football Player of the Year by USA Today.

After Bobby Wade graduated from Arizona, the Chicago Bears signed him in 2003 during the 5th round of the NFL Draft. Bobby Wade immediately performed in 2004 by recording 42 completed passes for 481 yards. However, he became inconsistent and had several fumbles in just one game. The Chicago Bears released Bobby Wade and he was picked up by the Tennessee Titans.

On March 6, 2007 Bobby Wade signed with the Minnesota Vikings roster and became a key player. Wade led the Minnesota Vikings season with an impressive 54 catches and 647 yards in 2007.

Bobby Wade was released from the Minnesota Vikings in September 2009.
