Ben Leber was born on December 7, 1978 and his hometown is Vermillion, South Dakota. He played four years of college football at Kansas State and was drafted in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. He signed as an unrestricted free agent to the Minnesota Vikings on March 11, 2006.
